Bell Biv DeVoe Return with First Single in 15 years, ‘Run’

After 15 years, Bell Biv DeVoe, has returned to music with their new single and video “Run.” The song, produced by Erik Sermon, is a smooth reminder of R&B’s golden years as the trio croons about a girl who only plays nice when she wants something, and then runs when her feminine wiles have merited her what she’s needed.

But don’t think this is just a one-off for them, the group also announced they’ve completed their fourth studio album Three Stripes = out at the top of 2017. Bell Biv DeVoe have long been a staple for rhythm and blues, the group’s classic 1990 hit “Poison” reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 selling four million copies in the U.S.

To coincide with their new record, Ronnie DeVoe, Michael Bivens and Ricky Bell are hard at work placing the finishing touches on their three-part BET mini series The New Edition Story. But enough long talk, check out Bell Biv DeVoe’s new single “Run.”
