A man is in jail after police say he stabbed a clerk he said sold him bad chicken.
Officers responded to the call around 11: 15 p.m. Friday (Oct 15) at an ExxonMobil gas station.
Police say the victim was stabbed in his lower leg by the suspect during an argument over chicken.
The victim, an Atlanta ExxonMobil employee, was cleaning up in the parking lot when the suspect approached him.
The suspect, David Haslett, 60, told officers the victim had sold him some bad chicken and he wanted his money back.
When officers arrived, the victim was standing in the middle of the street after being sprayed with a fire extinguisher.
The victim was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Haslett is charged with aggravated assault.
