Tasha Cobbs is married! She recently posted images of herself, alongside her husband, Kenneth Leonard. Tasha’s new man is a music producer for numerous Grammy Award winning artists. The couple tied the knot on Friday, March 3, 2017. The wedding ceremony was private but Tasha’s been sharing pics on Instagram.

Kenneth Leonard, Jr. has worked on music with Tasha, Anthony Hamilton and Tamia Hill. In 2015, he was the Musical Director for the BMI Brunch which featured Tasha. He has performed in numerous countries and worked with some of the most talented artists in the world. From Jodeci to Fantasia Barrino, Kenneth’s resume is very impressive.
Kenneth played the keyboards and piano for Tasha’s 2015 album, One Place Live. He also played the piano on Anthony Hamilton’s 2014 album, Home For The Holidays. He’s originally from Franklinton, North Carolina.
Tasha Cobbs was born on July 7, 1981 and is currently 35-years-old. She was born in Jesup, Georgia but grew up in Atlanta. The the video below shows her receive a key to her hometown:
David Earl Keith, Jesup’s mayor, gave Cobbs the key at Unity Church of God in Jesup. Tasha keeps winning and she deserves it!
Tasha’s journey began at Jesup New Life Ministries where she was the Worship Leader. The church was founded by her father, Bishop Fritz Cobbs. He sadly passed away days after Tasha won her first Stellar Award. After serving at Jesup New Life Ministries Tasha moved to Atlanta where she accepted a position at dReam Center Church of Atlanta.
Tasha has led dReam’s Worship and Arts Department since 2006. In 2012, Tasha teamed up with VaShawn Michell to record her debut album, GRACE. The project was a success, reaching the number 1 spot on the Top Gospel Albums chart.
